Samantha Stanley

Samantha Stanley holds a PhD from the University of Hong Kong. She has taught undergraduate communication courses in the U.S. and Hong Kong and reseraches media education products created and published by media corporations. In her past life, she practiced digital communications and management for non-profits in Los Angeles and San Francisco. Her passion for media literacy began with an undergraduate course in the political economies of mass media and have grown to include digital and information literacies. She co-created the DIGIURI Media Club, a monthly discussion group and has led that group for three years.
