Paul Bond is a librarian in the Southern Tier of New York and an educator on the Web. By day he engages in library instruction and outreach at SUNY Broome Community College, advocating for information literacy and open educational resources, and performing myriad other library duties. ABOUT THE WEBINAR SERIES:Â
The Leading from the Library Series explores the unique role that librarians and library workers can play in leading digital and media literacy programs. What unique âflavorsâ do libraries bring to digital and media literacy learning? What creative solutions are librarians exploring to engage learners? And (how) is AI shaping the conversation about literacy in libraries?
Across the series, weâll explore a range of opportunities and challenges for librarians who are leading or hoping to lead digital literacy initiatives, including how to get started, partnering with learner-leaders, identifying partners, and more.
