Join Our Online Community to Stamp out Copyright Confusion

This online social media space Copyrghtconfusion.wikispaces.com enables us to use the power of social media to reflect on our learning, share ideas for "what works" and strengthen the "fair use reasoning" muscles we are developing as we explore how the law applies to our new literacy practices with multimedia.

Check out the hypothetical and real cases about the use of copyrighted materials in schools.  Then use the Google Forms tool to document your fair use reasoning. See how others have commented on the same cases-- it's an online "conversation" that helps us reflect on the process of reasoning about how the doctrine of fair use applies to our work.

This website was developed by Kristin Hokanson, educational technology blogger and technology integration coach at the Upper Merion High School in King of Prussia, PA.
